- EPPB(Energy Performance Plan for Buildings)
- MERP(Municipal Emission Reduction Plans)
- SECAP(Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan)
- ΔΗΣΜΕ
- Energy Performance of Buildings(SEAK)
- Covenant of Mayors
Designed to meet the requirements of Law 4342/2015, the EPPB involves detailed data collection, meticulous analysis, and prioritization of municipal buildings to apply energy-saving measures and efficiency enhancements. We closely collaborate with municipalities to create these comprehensive plans, analyzing the primary data of the municipal building stock and the energy consumption of each property.
Our detailed assessment allows us to propose appropriate energy upgrade strategies for each building, considering factors like existing energy issues, the importance of the building’s preservation, and the building’s potential impact on the wider urban environment. A comprehensive technical report outlining the recommended actions and expected outcomes is provided. Additionally, we have developed a digital platform to streamline the process, allowing for efficient data input and analysis and easy generation of the EPPB technical report. Training services are also provided to familiarize interested parties with using the platform.
Under Law 4936/2022, we guide municipalities through the development of MERPs aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Our role includes assisting in primary data collection to record and evaluate the energy consumption of all the activities under a municipality’s jurisdiction. We then calculate the carbon footprint and establish realistic reduction targets for 2025 and 2030.
We also assist in identifying, prioritizing, and recording effective climate change mitigation measures to help the municipality meet its intended reduction goals. As with the EPPB service, a thorough technical report detailing the carbon footprint, planned mitigation measures, and expected outcomes is provided. This report is submitted to an independent accredited body for verification. We also provide a user-friendly digital platform for streamlined data analysis, report generation, and necessary training for its use.
As part of the European Commission’s Covenant of Mayors initiative, the SECAP service supports local authorities in implementing sustainable energy and climate policies. We work closely with municipalities to collect and analyze data about the activities within their geographical and administrative boundaries. This information enables us to quantify greenhouse gas emissions and determine the most representative emission factors per emission category.
The SECAP report delivered to the municipality includes a detailed carbon footprint, an assessment of climate risks, and a strategic action plan for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change. This service is rounded off by entering the collected data, and it results into the Covenant of Mayors platform, thus maintaining transparency and facilitating international recognition for the municipality’s climate and energy action efforts.
The stages towards complete decarbonization include the establishment of an energy management system, the calculation of the carbon footprint, and subsequently the setting of emissions reduction targets. To achieve these targets, appropriate methods must be explored in accordance with the latest scientific data and the specific needs of each business. Furthermore, it is required to conduct a study that assesses the risks posed by climate change in the region where the business is based. Once the climate risks that the business will face are identified, appropriate adaptation measures are chosen to prevent or minimize the damage that may be caused because of climate change. Subsequently, the climate risks that the business may face, along with the adaptation measures that are required to implement, are taken into account to assess the financial impact of climate change before and after the implementation of adaptation and emissions reduction measures.
Standards, initiatives, and questionnaires have been developed and are used by businesses to disclose their environmental actions as well as the economic impact of climate change on their operations.
The business is called upon to implement the most suitable methods and conduct regular goal achievement assessments, leading to emissions reduction and ultimately the elimination of emissions altogether.
The above steps constitute the fundamental components for achieving zero emissions for a business. ENVIROMETRICS possesses the appropriate expertise and experience to fully guide a business through each step of the above process.
With the era of Global Boiling officially signaling the need for change, setting robust emission reduction targets has transcended beyond corporate responsibility-it’s now a fundamental pillar for any business’s longevity and societal relevance. The repercussions of our shifting climate are manifesting with greater severity and frequency, making it imperative for businesses to prioritize and set clear emissions benchmarks. Recognizing these targets is not just about environmental stewardship, but about navigating the future market dynamics and cementing a position of leadership in a rapidly changing world.
At Envirometrics, we recognize the importance of precision and relevance in setting these targets. That is why we employ the leading frameworks in the industry: The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard for mitigation. These tools offer a comprehensive roadmap, rooted in the latest scientific research, ensuring that your company’s targets are not just ambitious but also aligned with the demands of current environmental laws. Partner with us to meticulously define, strategize, and achieve your emissions reduction goals, securing a resilient and sustainable trajectory for your corporate future.
At Envirometrics, we specialize in assisting businesses to sculpt comprehensive mitigation measures by meticulously examining their Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions. As European sustainability regulations evolve, our primary focus is to ensure your company’s climate strategy is not only compliant but is underpinned by solid, actionable mitigation actions, positioning you at the forefront of the net-zero transition. Through our comprehensive assessment, we craft strategies that are tailored to individual business needs, helping companies not just meet, but to significantly surpass regulatory benchmarks. Beyond mere compliance, it is our belief that well-structured mitigation measures can elevate a company’s environmental commitments into major strategic assets, catalyzing innovation and growth. With Envirometrics on your side, your company is equipped to navigate the sustainability landscape with authority, setting a new benchmark in environmental responsibility.

All companies are highly exposed to the inevitable impacts of climate change. By conducting Climate Risk Assessment (CRA) you will be able to identify climate change impacts on your assets, that help you plan how to best adapt to the challenges of climate change, inform your strategy and strengthen your resilience. Beyond aligning with Net Zero Guidelines and meeting the rising investors, stakeholders, and clients demand, the CRA stands as a key requirement for world-renowned reporting frameworks such as TCFD and CDP, through which the ability to gain a superior market position is greatly enhanced.
ENVIROMETRICS possesses the technical knowledge and expertise of conducting both phases of CRA, the Vulnerability Assessment and the Risk Assessment, based on individualized business needs such as activity, type of assets and location of activity. This includes screening the relevant climate hazards and assessing the significance of each risk that potentially threatens your business. Drawing upon our extensive experience, targeted adaptation measures are recommended for each significant risk identified, aimed at enhancing your climate resilience.
In the aftermath of the most sweltering three months on record, the imperative for transparent and direct disclosure of environmental and climate-related information is underscored more than ever. The escalating frequency and intensity of extreme weather events signal an urgent call to action. Investors and consumers are gravitating towards companies that provide clear insights into their proactive environmental responses in this era aptly termed ‘global boiling’. As such, accurate and transparent communication is not just essential, but a decisive factor in building trust and navigating future business landscapes.
At Envirometrics, we focus on clarity and accuracy, guided by trusted frameworks like the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and the Task Force Climate Financial Disclosure (TCFD). Our services help businesses present their environmental data clearly and confidently. By following the key principles of these established standards, we assist companies in effective climate reporting, ensuring they stay in line with international actions simply and effectively in a constantly changing global market.
Recognizing the growing need for businesses to assess and disclose the financial risks they face due to climate change, we provide expert guidance and support to ensure that they not only meet but exceed TCFD reporting requirements. Our commitment is to help companies identify, measure, and communicate their climate-related risks with accuracy, creating a seamless disclosure process that fosters trust among stakeholders in an unpredictable global market, with our dedicated team along them every step of the way.

As environmental transparency becomes an important benchmark for businesses, our tailored solutions and guidance help companies disclose their carbon footprint and environmental impacts with confidence. By integrating the metrics provided by CDP into our services, we assist organizations in showcasing their environmental stewardship in a clear and transparent manner, helping set them up on a path of trust and resilience in the rapidly changing economy.
